This pattern here is kind of like Matt's Midge, except that I have removed the wing and added wire to the body. I have used these in black mostly but found that the olive one is even better durring midge hatches. I was at the Frying Pan River last year and Andy Kim was there using this exact fly and killing it.. there was a small hatch going off and this pattern was the ticket.. I took a Matt's Midge and clicked the white wing off and used it, and it was pretty productive also..
