My Friend Ben did really good a couple years ago in the winter just as the river was opening. The ice on the edge of the river was really cool.
The Colorado River
Fished the Colorado River yesterday with a first time fly fisherman Hoon. Browns were going crazy, Hoon caught 5 and I got 10 it wasn't my first time though..
I like to fish the Colorado in the summer quit a bit because the fishing is pretty good and it doesn't get pounded with sun all day. I have had a few winter days up there to but they can be unpredictable.
